J.F. Sato and Associates served as the civil engineer for the Marriott-Residence Inn development in downtown Denver, Colorado. The project involved a multistory hotel with parking levels above and below ground, situated on approximately 1 acre at the corner of 18th and Champa Streets. JFSA provided the site/civil design, which included drainage design for rooftop detention, right-of-way improvements that preserved the historic flagstone curb in Champa Street and replaced an alley, final grading, fire and water services with new hydrants, sanitary sewer service, and private storm sewer service. Documents required for securing permits and approvals were also prepared.
