Water Resource Planning and Design
JFSA Water Resources Department provides experience with the planning, design and hydraulics of open channels, canals, irrigation ditches, storm and sanitary sewers, stormwater quality and outlet structures, pressure pipe for potable and raw water systems, detention ponds and dams. Most of our engineers are certified erosion and sediment control inspectors and have extensive experience in designing projects that strictly adhere to NPDES, EPA and Municipal water quality goals. We have experience in working in minor problems like flooding issues in roadway culverts to major projects like shoreline stabilization and dams. Our staff members are particularly experienced in using hydraulic, hydrologic and water quality models, and have proven experience in producing exemplary work for agencies such as FEMA, USDA-FS, BLM, BOR, UDFCD and numerous municipalities within several states of the US.
